Abstract
To ‘Taste thresholds for common sugars in Callithricidae (Platyrrhina)’. In Cebuellapygmaea and Leontocebus tamarin (Callithricidae, Platyrrhina) the threshold of taste were ascertained for seven common sugars. These physiological data were compared with those in Homo sapiens. The observations are being discussed with regard to the possibility if enzymes may be involved in the initial reaction of the stimulus with the taste-receptor.
