Abstract
Describes a realization of miniaturized and broadband function blocks for highly integrated monolithic microwave circuits, where simplicity of the circuit's configuration is one of the most important factors. The authors describe the design approach and results achieved with recently developed line unified FETs (LUFETs) and the active matching technique applied to active isolator, combiner, divider, and magic-T (180 degrees hybrid) function blocks operating from 1 GHz to 10 GHz or higher. Keywords
