Abstract
• Presented is the first known case of squamous cell carcinoma that developed at the site of a "pull" type percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy stoma. The patient had advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the pharynx when the percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube was placed. This article should serve as a warning of this potential complication. Alternate techniques and other precautionary methods are described. (Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 1992;118:658-659)Keywords
