Abstract
A method is descr. of equalizing inequalities of skin resistance in the use of the string electrocardiograph. Potentiometers introduced into the circuit between each cable lead of the electrocardiograph and the patient are adjusted until the amplitudes in each lead are identical. Then total resistance at each extremity will be identical (skin resistance plus resistance of the potentiometer). A table is shown with the relative resistances of the extremities with varying relationships between the amplitudes of the standardization deflections in the three standard leads. Keywords
