Abstract
This review on synergism among chemotherapeutic agents discusses clinical indications for combined antimicrobial drug therapy, disadvantages for such therapy, problems in defining and measuring the effects of combined antimicrobial drug action, and antimicrobial antagonism by chemotherapeutic agents. Synergistic actions of drug combinations on bacterial infections are illustrated. There is a bibliography with 117 references. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
