Abstract
An unusual campylobacter strain, a urease positive thermophilic variant ofCampylobacter lari, was isolated from the urine of a patient with urinary tract infection who was hospitalized because of cirrhosis and haemorrhage. The strain was isolated from urine specimens on three separate occasions. A significant serological response to the organism was also detected. This is the first documented case of extra-intestinal infection due to this group of organisms. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
