Abstract
A new C50‐hydroperoxide (1) with a hitherto unknown constitution, containing cadinane hydroperoxide and hyperforin (2) as partial structures, was isolated from the stems and leaves of St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum L., Hypericaceae). The structure was elucidated by high‐resolution NMR techniques (1D and 2D NMR experiments). Keywords
