Abstract
The chirality of all 3 asymmetric centers of the sawfly sex pheromone, the acetate of 3, 7, - dimethylpentadecan -2-ol, determines the response by males of the white pine sawfly, Neodiprion pinetum . Over 90% of all the males captured responded to the acetate of the (−) - 2S, 3S, 7S isomer. The threshold dose was 1–3 μg and a clear dose-response relationship was established. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
