Abstract
This article reviews terms associated with wellness, such as health promotion, illness, disease, and well-being, and describes the evolution of the concept of wellness. It also discusses the implications of concepts associated with wellness as they are relevant for occupational therapists who provide wellness or health promotion services or who employ wellness concepts in more traditional treatment or rehabilitation services. Keywords
