Abstract
Accad et al (1971) have calculated the positions of the levels 23P1 and 33P1 in helium-like ions, neglecting matrix elements connecting n3P1 and n1P1 states. It is shown that inclusion of these matrix elements gives a considerable improvement in the theoretical fine structure intervals.Keywords
