Abstract
Patients (22) in whom oxalate stones had formed and who had absorptive hyperoxaluria treated with DEAE-cellulose were studied. In more than 2 yr, this form of treatment did not have any serious side effects. It achieved a decreased of urinary oxalate values in all patients in whom oxalate hyperabsorption was found. DEAE-cellulose is an anionic exchanger capable of retaining oxalate in vitro and in vivo. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
