Abstract
A new variation in the group-specific component (GC) system, which was presumed to have arisen from duplication of the GC 1F and GC 1A2 genes, was previously reported from our laboratory. Through a genetic survey of a Japanese population, a second example of the same variation was found in a family. Keywords
