Abstract
Micro-coplanar-strip (MCS) lines are proposed to avoid serious proximity effects between microstrip lines and ground on monolithic microwave integrated circuits and to result in high packaging density. The rectangular boundary division method is used to attain quasi-TEM wave solutions for MCS lines. Results of this analysis are expressed in simple formulas. Keywords
