Abstract
The antigenic polysaccharide side chain of the cell wall lipopolysaccharide of Pasteurella haemolytica (serotype 4) was investigated by methylation, periodate oxidation, partial hydrolysis, and 13C and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance analysis methods and was found to be a simple unbranched linear polymer composed of a disaccharide repeating unit having the structure —3)-α-D-Galp-(1—3)-β-D-Galf-(1—.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
