Abstract
Excitation of the v′=4 level of the e 3Σ− state of CO by radiation from a sulfur lamp has made it possible to observe the v″=0–3 members of the v′=4 progression of the e 3Σ−–a 3Π transition. Relative electronic transition moments have been deduced from the observed intensities, and show only a small deviation from a constant value. Keywords
