Abstract
Tricarbonyliron complexes of 1-aza-1,3-butadienes are excellent transfer reagents for the complexation of 1,3-dienes. Moreover, 1-aza-1,3-butadienes catalyze the transfer of the tricarbonyliron group, e.g. in the complexation of 1,3-cyclohexadiene with nonacarbonyldiiron (yield: 98%, based on Fe). For the first time this method enables the transfer of both iron tricarbonyl fragments of nonacarbonyldiiron to the diene. Fixation of the 1-aza-1,3-diene on a solid support provides a heterogeneous catalyst for the complexation of 1,3-dienes which can be recycled. Keywords
