Abstract
Computer simulations of cluster growth have been performed using an extended version of the Eden model. The scaling exponents for the surface width depend on the value of a parameter q which determines the extent of cluster relaxation. This model has a particular relevance to the growth of bacterial colonies in nutrient-rich environments. Keywords
