Studies in condensed phosphates. Part VI. Paper chromatographic studies of condensed phosphates

Abstract
Paper chromatographic analysis of the complex polymetaphosphates, i.e., (Nax‐M(1−x)2PO3)n, where M is Ca, Ba, or Cu and x = 1/3 reveals that the observed values of Rf and Rg for the above derivatives are similar to those for the simple sodium polymetaphosphate (NaPO3)n, but are different from those of the phosphate anions viz., orthophosphate, pyrophosphate and trimetaphosphates.
