Abstract
The prepn. of a vaccine rendered non-virulent by exposure to u.-v. light for 35 min. is described. The irradiated rabies vaccine proved superior to other vaccines now on the market for immunizing mice and dogs against rabies. The vaccine can be prepd. within 7 days and released within another 7 days. It is relatively free from brain tissue and appears harmless. Its potency and steps in its prepn. can be checked quantitatively. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
