Abstract
The goal ofihis sludy was o develop a reliable laser inducedfluorescence specira analysis system using the 308nm Excimer Laser as an ablaiion andfluorescence inducing source. During our analysis we also aflempled lo determine whether exogenous chloroeiracycline hydrocloride (CTC) increased the discrimination capacity of the LIFS system. We then assessed the ability of CTC to improve the detection of the boundary between atheroma and normal media. Keywords
