Abstract
The histochemical reactions of resorcinol and of 5-hydroxytryptamine are very similar. It cannot be decided, on the basis of histochemical tests at present available, whether the reactions of human EC granules are due to a derivative of resorcinol or of 5-hydroxytryptamine or of some other, unknown, nucleus. Keywords
