Abstract
THE California Supreme Court continues to puzzle many medical-law commentators with a succession of controversial decisions. If appellate judges are expected most of the time to provide cool reason and clear logic in analysis and results, then the California high court falls short in the medical area more often than it seems to score points for justice and equity.A careful review of California medical decisions is a studied and deliberate effort on my part for the Journal. Except for the United States Supreme Court, the California high court is probably the most influential judicial body in this country.I . . .Keywords
