Abstract
Since the publication of the book entitled “Human Sexual Inadequacy” in 1970, the work of Masters and Johnson in treating sexual dysfunction has become very well known. They provide a convenient baseline for discussing some of the developments in the field since that time, and this paper will consider such developments in defining sexual dysfunction, in the treatment strategies employed, in the selection of clients for such treatment, and in the assessment of their problems. Keywords
