Dirac Wave Functions in Nuclear Distorted-Wave Calculations

Abstract
A distorted-wave formulation of simple direct nuclear reactions, using Dirac wave functions, is presented. The resulting amplitude contains interior damping due to relativistic Darwin terms. The calculations are compared with standard Schrödinger results and significant differences are found.Keywords
