Abstract
The biosynthesis of the aglycones of gilvocarcins V and M [by Streptomyces gilvotanareus] was studied with 13C-labeled precursors. The aglycones are formed via the acetate pathway and a route for their biosynthesis is proposed which involves secondary addition of an alkyl group. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
