Abstract
Methoxyvinyloxymethyl chloroacetate and acetate have been used as precursors to generate vinyl alcohol in aqueous acetonitrile, and its formation and conversion into acetaldehyde have been followed by 1H and 13C n.m.r. spectroscopy.Keywords
