Abstract
INSTRUMENTATION in the fields of neutron and reactor physics may be divided into two general categories: The first is the general field of reactor instrumentation. Here, three functions must be fulfilled: the monitoring, the control, and the protection of the nuclear reactor. Until these three functions are fulfilled, the reactor cannot be safely used as either a neutron source or a critical assembly. Keywords
