Abstract
A family of 53 members is described in which mild diabetes in young, non-obese subjects is transmitted through 4 generations from parents to children, the ratio diabetic/non-diabetic offspring of diabetic parents being 3:2 and all affected individuals having a diabetic parent. In this family, mild juvenile diabetes thus appears to be inherited as an autosomal Mendelian dominant. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
