Abstract
The merits of this system are that it is rapid and only 1 visit by the patient is necessary. This is a great advantage to the elderly and those suffering from advanced malignant disease. [Treatment for head and neck tumors is discussed.] Masks retain their strength and shape during treatment. The cost of the equipment is much less than the vacuum forming machines required for Bexoid shells. The system is easy to use and therefore trained personnel are not required.
