Abstract
Four facial nerve homografts of 2 cm length and four of 1 cm length were performed in cats. Spontaneous movements occurred in all cats and were present within eight weeks. At operation at 16 weeks and 60 weeks, good movements were obtained on direct stimulation of the facial nerve. Cinematography documented these results and histology showed nerve fibers to be present. Keywords
