Abstract
An exact solution for the one-dimensional doubly degenerate Hubbard model is obtained for the case of N+1 electrons in the limit of infinite coupling (U and J to infinity ). The density of states, conductivity, susceptibility and specific heat are calculated. The results are very different from that of the non-degenerate Hubbard chain due to degeneracy. Keywords
