Abstract
A new method for determination of inorganic phosphate in non-deproteinized parotid saliva showed high precision and accuracy. Normal protein concentrations found in saliva did not interfere with absorbance readings. The inorganic phosphate concentrations were found to decrease with increasing salivary flow rates. A reference value for the total inorganic phosphate concentration at a flow rate of 0.5 ml/min was 3.5 mmol/l.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
