Abstract
With the advent of pharmacotherapy, management of Parkinson's disease shifted in large measure to the primary care physician. With this shift has come the opportunity for the recognition of premonitory signs and early detection of the disease. Although the progression of parkinsonism is probably relentless, early supportive care often can markedly enhance the ability of patient and family to cope. Keywords
