Abstract
The prognosis in untreated symptomatic infants with a pulmonary sling is very poor. This is a potentially correctable lesion and there are signs on the plain film roentgenograms of the chest which are helpful in making a presumptive diagnosis of a pulmonary sling. The 3 relatively consistent findings are: alteration in aeration; a low left hilus; and anterior bowing of the right main bronchus. Keywords
