Abstract
The T[thymus-derived]-cell marker of spontaneous rosettes with sheep erythrocytes (E) was determined in 34 normal [human] term-deliveries using peripheral lymphocytes of the mother and the corresponding cord-blood lymphocytes of the newborn, immediately after delivery. A consistently lower level of E-rosette forming lymphocytes was observed in male as compared to female newborns in different parity groups and in twin deliveries. When the mean values were calculated for corresponding E-rosettes of maternal and newborn lymphocytes in each group (female and male group of offsprings) they were nearly identical. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
