Abstract
Classical nutritional training ha been more concerned with methods of obtaining the recommended daily allowances from the diet and less with the cost of foods. The latter has become of increasing importance on account of the rapid rise in the squatter populations of many cities in the developing world. This paper describes a method of assessing the adequacy of choice in foods by taking into account the nutritional value as well as the cost of foods. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
