Abstract
Commercial serum albumin and ovalbumin from a variety of sources contain triosephosphate isomerase activity which can interfere with many enzyme assays and metabolic studies. A simple procedure is described for the removal of this contaminant by preparative electrophoresis or electrofocus-ing.Keywords
