Abstract
Modulation effects induced by matrix protons and deuterons in the primary ESE from H and D atoms trapped in frozen water solutions of sulfuric acid have been analyzed. It has been shown that the nuclear quadrupole interaction in a deuterated sample additionally damps the modulation. Keywords
