Abstract
Self-refocusing slice selective radio frequency pulses could potentially be used to reduce imaging times in rapid gradient-echo sequences. However, in practice, the improvement is likely to be no greater than about 20%, and at the expense of much increased radio frequency power requirements.Keywords
