Abstract
8 schizophrenics and one epileptic compared with a group of 7 non-patients. Two 13 word sentences were used plus a random arrangement of the words of each and 3 systematized vs. random arrangements of digits. 25, 10, 5-noun wordlists made a third experiment These subjects were then studied for the effect of such material on speech when reading on delayed feedback. There seems to be a positive relationship between systematization of such material and the disrupting effect of such feedback with this relationship being much more marked in the schizophrenic group.
