Abstract
Mucous membrane pemphigoid differs from pemphigus vulgaris or bullous pemphigoid in clinical course, response to steroid therapy, and absence of characteristic antibodies. In this studiy of five elderly patients, it was not possible to demonstrate antibodies to oral epithelium by direct or indirect immunofluorescent studies. Keywords
