Abstract
Apparatus for measuring the moduli and internal friction of solids at temperatures from 1.7 to above 77°K is described. The resonant piezoelectric method with quartz transducers is used. The frequency range is 30 to 450 kc/sec. For calibration variously oriented quartz crystals were measured over this temperature range and the values are given. Keywords
