Abstract
The electroencephalographic registration of peripheral pain impulses was in the nature of a loss of inherent electrical energy. The decrease in amplitude was more evident in the parietal, occipital temporal and frontal lobes in a descending order. The changes observed in the retropharyngeal area and from the base of the skull were similar to the cervical ones. The changes were not dependent on the nature and degree of the peripheral stimulus. Keywords
