Abstract
The CNC+ ion has been detected in the gas phase by tunable diode–laser spectroscopy in a hollow cathode discharge. The (001)–(000), (011)–(010), (021)–(020), and the (031)–(030) transitions were observed and analyzed. The derived spectroscopic constants for the ground vibrational state are: ν0=1974.071 72(65) cm−1 and B0=0.460 609(39) cm−1.Keywords
