Abstract
Dehydration of 15α-hydroxyhopane and of the 21αH-epimer gives the corresponding 13(14→15)abeo-hop-14(27)-enes together with alkenes which result from migration of the C-14 methyl group. Dehydration of 15β-hydroxyhopane and of the 21α-H-epimer is also accompanied by migration of the C-14 methyl group. Keywords
