Abstract
The effect of backflow of quasiparticles on the dynamics of classical systems is investigated using the mean-field expression for the density response function proposed recently by Aldrich et al. It is observed that the overall results for classical liquids (e.g., liquid argon and rubidium) are qualitatively of the same nature as obtained from earlier mean-field expressions, whereas qualitative and quantitative improvement is achieved for one-component classical plasma. Keywords
