Abstract
For the past year two 115 meter-long superconducting power transmission cables have been tested at Brookhaven. These cables are the culmination of about a decade of development and are the largest application of superconductivity to power engineering up to the present. Performance data for 60 Hz excitation up to 6000 A and 110 kV are given. Keywords
