Line-Reversal Comparison of p¯pπ+π and πppπ at 6 GeV/c

Abstract
We present differential cross sections at 6 GeV/c for the baryon-exchange reactions (1) p¯pπ+π and (2) πppπ over the range tmin<t<1.5 GeV2. Unlike previous experiments at similar momenta, our results are consistent with line-reversal symmetry for t<1.0 GeV2. We contrast this to our previous results on (3) p¯pππ+ and (4) π+ppπ+ for which line-reversal symmetry is not satisfied.
