Abstract
Various formulations of beta-agonists and other bronchodilators have been associated with unexpected bronchoconstriction in certain individuals. Even though the number of affected individuals represents a relatively small percentage and the etiologies may differ among patients, it is important for the public to be aware of the potential for paradoxical bronchospasm and for the physician to investigate each case accordingly. Keywords
