The Internet is both disassortative and assortative

Abstract

The AS-level Internet on the whole is classified as a disassortative network. In this letter, we focus on the high-degree nodes and we examine their collective behaviour and the connectivity between themselves. We show that the AS-level Internet also exhibits assortative behaviour.
